Motion: Councillor D. Smith “That this Committee recommends the provision of permanent toilet facilities in the vicinity of the cricket pitch and adjacent playing pitches in Newbridge House and Demense.”

Report: No budgetary provision has been made for this proposal nor was such a proposal included in the major redevelopment works projected to commence in the courtyard later this year. There are 2 toilet blocks within a short distance of the field containing the cricket and GAA pitch which it is felt adequately serve the needs of users of both pitches given the occasional usage; one at the playground which is less than 100m from the field and a larger block at the farm courtyard which is less than 300m from the field.
