“To ask the Chief Executive if any further progress has been made in
the last three months on the Taking in Charge of Thornleigh Estate?”

 

Reply:
Waterman Moylan Engineering Consultants are employed by the
bondholder to act on its behalf to bring Thornleigh estate to a taking in
charge standard. They have completed the tender documents for the
Taking in Charge Works Contract which has just been submitted to the
Built Environment Inspectorate. These are being reviewed presently and
will be returned directly to ensure no delay to the advertisement of the
Tender for the completion of the Works at Thornleigh Estate.
