“That this Committee supports the provision of a modern, multi purpose
community sports facility by Fingal County Council to be co-located on the
site of the new Swords Community College.”

Report:
The provision of schools and associated facilities on school sites is a
matter for the Department of Education & Skills, however the Council will
forward the decision of the Committee to the Department.

The Council also intends to carry out a feasibility study on the
development of leisure/recreational facilities for the County and this will
include the Swords area.
