LOCAL COMMUNITY GRANTS
Question: Councillors, P. Lynam; J. Sinnott; D. Smith -Local Community
Grants.
“To ask the Chief Executive to give an update in tabular form the breakdown for community groups in the swords L.E.A.and the amount
awarded to each for grants this year?”

Reply:
Community Activity Grants, Sports Activity Grants and Arts Grants are made available subject to criteria to all community groups. If approved
the grant is brought before the Local Councillors at an area committee meeting and then to the Full Council Meeting for approval. The following grants have been approved by the Council so far in 2017:

Malahide Camera Club (Arts Grant) € 1,000
Ross EO Art Group, Rush (Arts Grant) € 500
The Promise M & D Group, Ballyboughal (Arts Grant) € 6,000
Rolestown Panto Group (Arts Grant) € 1,000
Ballyboughal Hedgerow Society (Community Activity Grant) € 720
