Carlton Court, Derelict Land

September 8, 2016 by Duncan Smith

Question: Councillor D. Smith – “To ask the Chief Executive who owns the triangular piece of derelict land in the Carlton Court Estate which is currently behind palisade fencing and are there any planning permissions for this piece of land?”

Reply: This site has been inspected under the Derelict Sites Act 1990. The Inspectorate Division has written to the owner to repair the fence on this site. A reply is awaited. A planning application, Register Reference F09A/0059, for the construction of a three bedroom, two storey detached house with car park space and site boundary walls was refused in 2009. There is currently no active planning permission for this piece of land.
