Ban on Parking Commercial Vehicles

December 9, 2014 by Duncan Smith

I am delighted to report that after representations by me, the Council has agreed to impose a three tonne parking limit on the road linking the Glen Ellan Road and Broadmeadows Linear Park.

This road serves Castleview, Ashton Broc, Thornleigh and Applewood and of course has Thornleigh Educate Together primary school.

Large vehicles cannot be parked or abandoned on such a busy road, used daily by parents bringing their children to school.
