Pedestrian Link to Knocksedan

December 8, 2016 by Duncan Smith

Question: Councillor D. Smith – . “To ask the Chief Executive for a timeline on when a pedestrian link through Rivervalley Park will be delivered for the residents of Knocksedan?”

Reply: The acquisition of some remaining areas of open space between Swords town and Knocksedan Bridge is nearing completion. This will allow for the development of a park along the entirety of this section of the Ward River. A plan for this park will be prepared in the coming months to include these additional areas and incorporating pedestrian and cycling routes along this part of the valley.
